What Is Staging And Why Is It Important?

Staging is a form of visual merchandising that is intended to draw attention toward the positive features of a home and away from any negatives.  The goal of staging is to make a home appeal to the highest number of potential buyers, therefore selling a property faster and for more money. Staging is the easiest way to ensure that buyers will see a home in its very best light. The first place a buyer looks when searching for a new home is online and if the photos don't look good those buyers will move onto the next home that interests them. You only get one chance to make a first impression and staging is the best way to make it a good one.

Does Staging Really Work?

According to industry analysis some 77% of buyers agents said staging has helped potential buyers better visualize the space as their own due to the overall appearance and ambiance. According to the National Association of Realtors, a staged home will sell for17% more on average than a non-staged home, and 95% of staged homes sell in 11 days or less.  That is statistically 87% faster than non-staged homes. The answer is yes.
